miss 卓: May 2009

HEY dear all! Finally after many days I uploaded, chosen, editted and uploaded the taiwan trip photos to computer and blogger! It was super chore man but I know I must do it, heh!

DAY 1

On thursday the 14th de early early morning, even before the rooster woke up, we woke up to catch our 8.10am flight! I was embarking on taiwan trip with (from left) 小姨, 妈咪, 大姨 and 外婆! 外婆 don't usually look like that =x maybe she didn't have enough sleep from the previous night, hah!

And of course not forgetting laomiao! We took a 4hr plus flight, sit till our butts went numb.

As soon as we got off the plane and was walking along the path, we saw 飞轮海 welcoming us 2 Taiwan!

After that we coached to 桃园 to take bullet train to 台北!

As a proof that I took the bullet train!

Somehow we ended up at 西门町 & we're standing on the ground where Taiwan artistes like to hold their autograph sessions!

How can we not eat oyster mee sua at Taiwan?!

Then there was this well-tamed dog sitting on a scooter dangerously.

After a series of shopping at 西门町, we dined at this restaurant where we stuffed ourselves with many many Xiao Long Baos. It was a terrible session because we're all BLOATED after that.

As we're heading to 基隆, we passed by 台北小巨蛋!

We checked in to a nice 5-star hotel that has beautiful sea view! The reflection of the bed is so funny!

Ooh then we headed to a nearby night market for supper & shopping but there wasn't much to buy.

DAY 2

Have I talked about this ship? It's called Doulous! If I'm not wrong, this ship is runned by some christian organisation? It goes round the world having book fairs if I'm not wrong. How I know? Because previous church brought us there when this shippie was in SG many years ago!

We headed to 九份! It's like a mountain top with stretch of shops on both sides to earn $ from tourists? lol

While walking by, I saw our good friend, Mr Terra Cottas!

Then there was this cute but funny looking man selling 陶笛! I did buy one from him but I'm not blowing it.

Then then there was this dessert shop it's something like cheng teng with many ingredients. But the main ingredient is some yam rubbery thing like bobo chacha.

They were sitting together really!

So this was the mountain top view down, the houses and roads look like a garbage dump from far.

After that we headed for steamboat lunch! Everybody has her own pot! My favourite food there was the maggie mee!

After lunch we're on coach again to 新竹. Because I was so bored I decided to do what many girls will do, camwhore.

After camwhore and nap, we reached 新竹城隍庙! Actually there was nothing much we basically went there to use the toilet =x

We're surprised to see one of the toilet doors paste this. Then what's the toilet for?!

Sis say must take this kinda photo when we're overseas so I let her take.

The difference between a photo taken by a photography & non-photography student, haha. Anyway the main thing is still the copycat version of Merlion!

Can't believe we went to so many places within a day. We're heading to 台中!

DAY 3

1st place we went to in the morning is 九族文化村! It's not just a cultural place but also a theme park.

We trammed to somewhere at the top of the mountain!

And visited the wax figures! They look pretty real!

And sat on a swing that's different from what I have in my room because it's outdoor, hah.

It was time for a performance by the people from the 族s, it's a 惊天动地的 performance if you look close enough, hahas! My 大姨 likes it alot, lol!

After performance ended, we sat cable car down! Pardon 外婆's face, she really didn't sleep well, lols. I think me too.

Sis insisted she wanna sit on UFO, so being a very attentive, brave, courageous, dilligent (ok that was lame description) mother, mummy joined her! I believed they had much fun, look at their faces! *megawatt smile*

Sis wanted to take more thrilling rides, so I headed to the indoor park to take photos! The 旋转木马 is so 梦幻! Got 2 levels somemore, something that most girls will want their bfs to bring them to, I suppose, hah!

It's 公主小妹's 拍摄片场! It looks so 梦幻 too! But inside the building is actually a super noisy restaurant.

Oh and this place is hmm err 日月潭's 文武庙. Nothing much to talk about eh. hahas!

DAY 4

We're at 高雄! As we pass by somewhere, we saw people preparing to 抗议! Later the day we saw on news that a police accidentally hit down a fellow who's on his way to 抗议.

While they're 抗议-ing, we're enjoying ourselves at 高雄85大楼. The lift is so interesting cause it suddenly turned into a milky way galaxy as we're halfway up the tower!

From the 85th floor view, we see building, buildings and more buildings! Mostly are industrial bulidings.

After which we headed to 梦时代广场. Nothing much in there seriously except for the HelloKitty ferris wheel! Other than that all expensive and branded goods.

Hah and we saw this fellow who forgot to wipe its mouth after stealing a bite from donuts.

And I saw my breakfast friend holding a music session there! 卢广仲! He really can be handsome without that hair and that snorkling thingy. Come on take off your WIG!

The coach journey was far too long so we had a stopover where we had mango ice!!!! It was heavenly.

DAY 5

We're at 垦丁! 海角七号 was filmed all around this area. First thing in the morning we went to Aga's home!! But he wasn't around lols! Go in still need to pay NT50 =x

With the house owner! Anyway the photos that has me/my sis above are all taken by the girl in pink. She's really very good in it and I salute her for that.
